BALANCE another one of those modern buzz words ! What does it actually mean and how do we make “balance” a word that we can actually apply to our lives?
Those of you who know me will know that I am a passionate workaholic with a family that I love more than life itself and work/life balance is something that I have always struggled with and continue to struggle with, however as I get older I find it easier to leave tasks unfinished and actually focus on what is important, because you really do start to realise just how precious time is!
For all of us “balance” looks different and means so many different things, I would love to hear your theories on what balance looks like for you.
At Au Natural Skinfood we called our mud mask “Balance” because balancing your skins microbiome, so that your skin can build its barrier function is exactly what it does.
Our natural skincare cannot penetrate past the epidermis of our skin, what we want to do is gently sloth away dead skin cells and exfoliate our skin, dissolving dirt that clog pores and end up with a nice smooth canvas that our Manuka Honey natural skincare can then penetrate.
Why not give it a try? The great thing is that your whole family/ partners can do this as a treat for your skin, chop that cucumber, switch off your phones and have some family time together, your skin will thank you!
Au Natural Skinfood's BALANCE Mask
Is a mineral rich, volcanic Rotorua, white mineral mud combined with Active 16+ Manuka Honey, pure NZ Bee Venom and sunflower seed oil. Bioactive ingredients work hard to deliver a deep cleanse, gently reduce open pores and clear away dead skin cells, surface debris and unwanted residues. Active 16+ Manuka Honey encourages good bacteria on the skin to grow and prevents bad bacteria. Pure NZ Bee Venom increases blood circulation to the deep layers of the skin, stimulating cell regeneration. This uniquely New Zealand formula will deliver results for your skin leaving it cleaner and resulting in a stronger healthier skin.
Simply spread a thin layer of the mud mask onto your face with your fingers and allow it to dry for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a soft washcloth to remove the mud. Mud masks should be used two to three times a week for best results. Clay masks are similarly applied to a clean, dry face and evenly distributed in a thin layer with fingers. Clay masks may need to dry up to 40 minutes, depending on the thickness of the mask. Because clay masks are not as gentle on the skin, they should only be used once a week to avoid over-drying.
Apply as a full mask or as a spot treatment on areas of concern overnight.
